Check this out, especially if you go to the VectorMagic site and click on Comparisons. If they are to be believed, these guys are definitely one step ahead, and it's free! Very useful tool for graphic design, especially when dealing with crappy companies who don't have or won't give you the vector copy.

Although Flex 3 is open source, there isn't a decent IDE out there for it apart from Adobe's commercial Flex Builder 3. Luckily, they've made it free for students here - just fill in the form and attach a scanned copy of your student card. Only takes a day or two to get the key. Pretty neat stuff.
