I read that yesterday and thought about posting it here or to facebook. I think it's an overreaction. Basically, the lede seems like a made-up story around which to assemble various complaints about facebook. Clearly, its numbers are still growing tremendously. And the people behind it are adaptive enough that I think fb will be a relevant part of modern life for a long time, at least in internet sensation years.
