Going to Kona next month. Never been there before, so I'll report on what we find.
We went to Maui a few years ago with a friend who's a teacher in Redmond. One of her students was on the same floor of the hotel :(
We love Kelowna - like California wine country but closer and cheaper - and Canadians are friendly. High of -1 on Friday though, so better to go in the summer.
