- eric - Sep 29 2006 | Ryan Boudinot, sex. nerve.com, Charles Burns, comics
Ryan Boudinot wrote this review for Nerve.com nearly a year ago. Charles Burnes is a local comic book writer telling the story of the "Black Hole." Sexually active northwest teenagers become mutants and escape into the wilderness to be with each other romantically and further explore their mutations.
Sounds like an interesting concept.

Didnt he work in Amazon cs for a while? He also writes for Mcsweeney's sometimes, I think.
Yes. He's friends with Mr. Howard and we went and drank beers last night after seeing him read out of his first book (a collection of short stories). Go check out thepugetnews.com to see more (hint, hint)...
read this comic book a bit back - it isn't that great (imho). it's basically teenage angst + mutation. i just don't / can't get into it cause they do absolutely nothing bout this 'mutation' like perhaps go to the hospital? if you want i can lend it to you.
