Love this bar/restaurant in Capitol Hill. It's housed in an old masonic temple, and the food/drinks are great!
Quoted: Food is available for take out and by 8 a.m. each day, baguette sandwiches are on the counter for people to take to work for lunch. They also have a retail wine license.

they have the pie of the shepards!
I've never had it. I'm an anglophile without the culinary balls required to be an anglophile. Do they have haggis too?
didn't notice a haggis. shepard's pie looks promising. we'll try it out this week hopefully. whee!
