  it's so easy to dismiss anti-fur activisim as extreme left-wing hippie pothead politics that some celebrities use as some sort of pr stunt. what i don't understand is, with all the information available why all of a sudden it's hip to wear fur again. if anyone considers themselves a thinking person at all, at least try to read the facts of how fur is harvested. and then decide, really, is the kind of cruelty carried out by the fur industry absolutely necessary to justify manufacturing something that has a much less cruel alternative. perhaps admitting that makes some people feel like a weenie, but a little humility doesn't hurt when you consider exactly what the animals have to go through right up to their painful death.
