oh man the metaethicists are going to have a field day. this beats the fat guy/speeding trolley hypothetical by a long shot.
my favorite part is it is the same city dwellers who got bunnies as pets and then let them go in the park that are now sad that their old pets have turned into an invasive species that needs to be eradicated-- AND that they are upset that these same former pets would be used to reduce the overall energy load on the rest of the country created by the cities. meanwhile they continue to circulate their 'save the bunnies' emails that... rely on bunny corpse powered generators.
