    I LOVED the anne of green gables books when i was little. i still have all of them (except for the fourth in the series, anne of windy poplars) in my bedroom at home. when the summer slows down, i might have to pull them out and re-read them in celebration.

    there's a "pre-quel" out now too -- "before green gables". might have to check that out even though drew has banned me from buying any more books this summer.

      I was also obsessed with Anne (with an 'e'). Did you see the two Anne TV movies starring Megan Follows on CBC growing up? They had a great soundtrack too.

      i seem to remember watching one of them, but i only have vague memories of it.

      Jane is a huge fan as well. She recently got one of the made for TV movies on Netflix.
