information on down syndrome : prenatal risk info

    • mel - Dec 29 2006

Just had a blood test to figure my risk on that, actually. Don't have the results yet, though.

      Why this Dot?

    • sung - Dec 29 2006

lol - it comes with dating a doctor. was talking bout my sister / brother who both had their first child in their early-mid 30's and she told me bout this.

also she stated that (for some odd reason) after the first child the risk of this becomes very very reduced - they can't seem to explain why but the first child is the one who is at most risk.

      go figure.

Take it from me -- long-distance relationships _never_ work --- _ever_. Don't even try! ;)

    • sung - Dec 29 2006

      thank you mister positive

    • ms.kruse - Dec 29 2006

that's true. someone needs to move.

    • sung - Dec 30 2006

doh! okay okay... but it's only been all of a month - don't you guys think i should try this thing out for a bit... and yes, i do understand long distance rarely works.

    • derek - Dec 30 2006

I was kidding -- it worked for us. It all depends.

    • ms.kruse - Dec 30 2006

It all depends on how faithful you can be.

    • MagicmonkeyT - Dec 30 2006

I'll second that "all depends" comment. I Had one L.D.R. go down in flames. I ended up happily married (knock on wood) with the other one. When it's the right one, it doesn't matter if you're near or far...well...actually, that's a lie. At some point, it gets old. Somebody's gotta move eventually...

    • kabir - Dec 31 2006

i def think its worth a shot .. nice sung!!!
