A writeup about the South Asian club scene in Seattle!
Quoted: The scene, sponsored by Sounds of the East, aka The Bollywood Project, has a distinctly Indian flavor drawing not only the adventurous but Asian Indians seeking cultural familiarity and reinforcement. And not far from Chop Suey, I Heart Shiva, the granddaddy of the local Asian Indian music scene, hosts twice-monthly events at the Baltic Room.

Just saw this Bollywood movie yesterday, and it was fantastic! Loved the writing, the acting, and the fact that the music was just sort of incorporated into the story ... no busting out into song :)

dude this is awesome
In some ways I actually prefer the S. Asian club scene in Seattle to the one in NY because it's not as clique-ish and thugged out.
The ones I've been to (granted not many) were FOB'ed out... fun people watching, but watch out for the BO.
