So what if Cleveland wins this series? Do they still care as much? Probably not, which means this only reveals what we all already knew about the population of Cleveland and the state of Ohio: They are insecure losers.
I don't think people will care much less if Cleveland wins the series. It's an inexplicable middle finger to your hometown. I'd be furious if I rooted for either or both of those a-hole franchises.
