Trying to run Ubuntu 7.10 Server on my desktop:
Microsoft Virtual PC: Ubuntu install hangs during install every time
VMWare Workstation: $200
Microsoft Virtual Server: Needs IIS to be running
VMWare Server: Free, but needs a huge form to be filled in.
VirtualBox: Free! Works! (Ubuntu actually installs a kernel that doesn't work, but the interwebs help you to change the config to boot correctly!)

Trying to find a good virtualization environment to run Windows under Ubuntu; this looks great and the feature support it has across platforms seems to be way better or comparable to Parallels, VMWare, etc. Even has seamless mode.
