The 40-mile course looks cool, although I may need to upgrade to a proper road bike.
Quoted: Tulip Pedal will again offer two rides – a 20-mile course around the tulip fields between Mount Vernon and La Conner, and a 40-mile course that will begin and end near the tulip fields, and also will take cyclists past breathtaking views of Samish and Padilla bays, Mount Baker and the Cascade foothills. Both rides begin and end at the La Conner Middle/High School complex.
Some of my friends that are doing the STP are planning on doing this little ride as a warm up, any takers? *cough*Jesse*cough*

A public experiment that was better in theory than in practice: "In the end, the restrooms, installed in early 2004, had become so filthy, so overrun with drug abusers and prostitutes, that although use was free of charge, even some of the city’s most destitute people refused to step inside them."
