  • I need to replace my trusty phone after submerging it underwater last night:(

I'll probably go with the Dash.

Aw, c'mon. Get a BlackBerry. I have the Pearl, but if you don't mind the size of a phone like this, T-Mobile has a version of the Curve which includes WiFi, so when you're at home and the office (and Starbucks), it's free connect time. Might make web access faster too.

I don't doubt the BlackBerry is a great phone. I'd probably even recommend that most people get one. In my case, however....
      a) I've amassed an apps collection I don't want to give up (including a guitar tuner and the windows live search application).
      b) I like that I can program my phone in C#/.Net
      c) Windows Mobile is the best solution for sync'ing with Exchange.

I have the dash. It's a good phone, but possibly due to the OS, it freezes or acts up about once a week. No big deal, just a quick reset fixes everything. Battery life isn't so great, though.

Blackberries are awesome and I had one for 2.5 years with no issues. But the Dash can do more stuff. I never thought of putting a guitar tuner app into it - that's a great idea. Speaking of which, how's your guitar playing coming along?

It's obvious that the media got played, but I'm disappointed that political "leaders" didn't step in to set them straight.

Quoted: Most papers dutifully reported that a Georgian attack in the breakaway province of South Ossetia, where most people want to join Russia, started the conflict. But casual readers might have struggled to understand that.
