Quoted: 話は戻って『バンテージ・ポイント』だが、"ひとつの物事を多視点で繰り返すサスペンス"という点において、黒澤明監督の『羅生門』（50年、日）にヒントを得ている。最近、日本ではクロサワ映画のリメイクが話題になっているが、本来古典とはこのような形で蘇らせてこそ、ではないだろうか。リメイクばかりで進歩がないといわれる現在のアメリカ映画界でさえ、こうした形でしっかり過去の文化遺産を発展させた凄い作品を出してくる。大いに見習うべきではないか。
最低限元ネタをちゃんと消化して、何かしらオリジナルの形にできていればいいと思うんだけど、日本のリメイクは音楽にしろ何にしろ過去のネームバリューだけを目的にした焼畑農業をしてるだけだと思う。結局後には何も残らない。作ってる人達を本当に軽蔑する。
