The iPod will continue to sell extremely well [at least for a while untill people realize how much better the zune is ;)]. Yes their graph of the derivative of growth has a downward slope, but thats expected when you have something so successful as the ipod. All markets have a size maximum.
You're right, of course. Downward growth is expected. What's surprising is that they are peaking already. I expect they'll milk a couple more very profitable years out of the franchise.
