i have a medicaid patient now who needs teeth extracted for a denture but the medicaid only provides medical coverage, so he can't afford the dentures. its hella sad and i hope something can be done about cases like this.

I bet if there was some possible way to provide enough state-funded preventative care to treat pts before big problems occur, that the decrease in "last-option" emergency room visits alone would cover the cost of the prevention in the first place. The cycle has to stop somewhere.
