Imposter! Apparently this woman doesn't know that I made up "Grammar Girl" many years ago, and even dressed as her for Halloween in 2004. This woman looks nothing like Grammar Girl. She probably doesn't even have superpowers, like ridding the world of superfluous apostrophes. Sheesh.
Quoted: Grammar lessons often are associated with high school drudgery -- diagramming sentences and memorizing obscure rules in between passing notes in English class -- but an Arizona technical writer has turned the seemingly dry subject into a popular podcast.

Ha, I used to hate diagramming sentences. Check out the diagram for one of Palin's sentences from the Katie Couric interview. But George Bush has already proven you don't need to speak English properly to be in a position of power.

Ooooohhhh, chick fight!
Punch her in the semi-colon!
why stop half-way? go for the colon!
deb, are you sure we aren't soul mates? i dressed AS punctuation for Halloween in 2007. (i didn't choose an apostrophe, of course; the world already has too many.)
Maybe, rather than scorning the psuedo-grammar girl, we could all join superhero forces in a League of Grammar (along the lines of the League of Justice a la Superfriends, not a 50cent word bowling team as it sounds...)
