I remember the lawsuits began when I was in college. My roommate and I discovered Harmony Central Tabs which was the best thing ever. I threw in some of my own contribtions. I didn't have to rewind my CD player over and over to see if it was a Em or Em7 anymore. I don't understand what the fuss is since all the tabs are contributed to the general public?
I didn't discover olga until my 40's. Think of the time I could have saved.
Tabs are a great way to capture heavy technique stuff. But you do have to be careful that it doesn't turn into a crutch. It's still very worthwhile to learn to read the staff.
