    This is very sad. Dr. Root was apparently doing remarkable work in Botswana.

    Quoted: Dr. Richard K. Root, a gifted clinical teacher at the University of Washington Medical School and former chief of medicine at Harborview Medical Center, moved to Botswana earlier this month to help alleviate Africa's desperate shortage of doctors and nurses.

    This is horrible. UW professor, Dr. Richard K. Root, was pulled from his dug-out camoe in Botswana and eaten by a crocodile.
