It makes it seem like we really have no idea what is going on in the Sound. Shellfish farmers and recreational divers are the only people noticing when stuff like this happens.

I wonder if these invasive tunicates are edible. They seem to be causing a lot of problems for the shellfish and fishing industries.
If they are edible, I could market them as a jellyfish-like food for Chinese restaurants. The problem with these critters would be solved pretty quickly!
