    Just heard this awful news about a WA state MIT student Wolfe Styke (who is a friend of a friend) being stabbed by his ex (Wellesley) girlfriend, Anna Tang.

    She stabbed him 7 times, he called 911, and the police came with paramedics and arrested her. She also confessed all of this to the police after her Miranda rights were read to her.

    I would say she's going to be tried for attempted murder (she is still in prison w/o bail, awaiting a hearing to determine how dangerous she might be). Another article stated that she had also ordered a cross-bow online - but it arrived AFTER she attacked her ex-boyfriend with 3 knives she brought to his dorm.

    Wolfe apparently will recover and is back in classes.

      I was shocked when I first heard about this. Wolfe was a friend of mine in high school. It's pretty eye-opening when this kind of thing happens to people you actually know. The news definitely gave me chills.

      I can't imaging waking up at 6am to find someone sitting on top of you and stabbing you in the back! Talk about a nightmare!
