Taiwan wu long tea is grown in the mountains. The combination of subtropical climate and high elevations is ideal for growing wu long tea.
Taiwan produces the best wu-long tea (also spelled wu-long tea or wulong tea) in the world. Its unique growing environment is due to both its geographical position and its mountainous terrain.Map of the main Taiwanese oolong-growing mtns/regions for some of my favorite varietals.
The map is hosted by the site Tea from Taiwan, which also sells, well, tea from Taiwan! Check them out, they seem to have a wide variety of the most well-known varietals.
