Try it! Most people have no idea what is really on their license.
For those of you who want to make life a little bit tougher for ID theft artists, I'd recommend removing your information from public view.

Omg! Check your drivers' license... Now you can see anyone's Driver's License on the Internet, including your own! I just searched for mine and there it was...picture and all! Thanks Homeland Security! I definitely removed mine, I suggest you all do the same..... Go to the web site and check it out. Just enter your name, City and state to see if yours is on file. After your license comes on the screen, click the box marked "Please Remove". This will remove it from public viewing, but not from law enforcement.
Quoted: Under the Motor Vehicle Operator License Identification Act (MOLIA - enacted on July 9, 2005), all US states are required to digitally store a copy of every valid driver's license. License data must be made retrievable by The National Motor Vehicle License Bureau in order to form a consolidated and centralized database of U.S. driver's licenses. On August 3rd, 2005 Congress enacted an amendment to the Freedom of Information Act, providing public access to motor vehicle driver's information in an electronic format.

Podcast interview with TinyURL's creator - Kevin "Gilby" Gilbertson. Interestingly, he's making a (modest?) living just from the ads on tinyurl.com (or was, in 2006). He's quite reluctant to monetize he sites further at the risk of invading his user's privacy.

DOH! Got me...
Jane got me so I had to go see if I could get anybody else - I guess now that the cat is out of the bag, I might have a hard time getting others to visit the site.
Dangit Jane... I wonder who got her first before she had to take revenge on others.
damn! next time I will read the comments first!
I saw Jane's email and remembered so didn't click... hurray for me!
I guess Ken and I are the suckers left around here...
You, Ken, me & Jane - we're all in good company at least!
