saw this trailer yesterday when we say 'The Departed.' it looks great! plus it's based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller - you mighta heard of him, his the guy who wrote Sin City.
i've browsed the comic book (it was a bit too pricy for me at the time when i first saw it back in 2000) it's gonna be action packed.
can't wait for this to come out.

Reviews were bad but this is officially my favorite movie of 2009. Christopher Doyle's color, light, photography plus jarmusches silence, minimalism, and difference/repetition provide a pure crystal time image with a critique of control societies to match. Or as it is said by reviewers: "movie purposefully going nowhere" "Jarmusch's characteristic indifference to narrative excitement makes it hard to love" "As usual, Jarmusch is supremely uninterested in telling a story or exploring character, and is content to build up an atmosphere..."
