Sad. Unfortunately, this is a relatively common occurrence in Bangladesh with the a) low-lying land, b) proximity to water, and c) incredibly dense population (150M people in a space smaller than Iowa).

Jokes aside - I remember seeing footage on TV with my own eyes, of the Bangla PM going to her office in a boat in Dhaka a few years ago.
