Faves for this Web page
The Road trailer is out. It shows a lot of scenes from before and during 'the event' for how little anything is said about it in the book. I really hope that they don't royally fuck this up.
Quoted: Based on Cormac McCarthy’s best-selling and Pulitzer Prize winning novel, “The Road” is the epic post-apocalyptic tale of a journey taken by a father and his young son across a barren landscape that was blasted by an unnamed cataclysm that destroyed civilization and most life on earth.

yeah isn't his wife in a whopping 2 pages of flashbacks, or am i forgetting? watching this you would think she was a major player in the plot...hmmmm.
plus you're right, they better not foreclose on the event, cause the book makes no decision between ecological catastrophe and nuclear Armageddon, as I recall.
wow, looks good.
