"The Word" has got to be one of my favorite things on tv right now. It's brilliance stems from the fact that it translates sub-text for you. A positively meta-experience. Colbert, I salute you.

Just saw Michelle Obama speak.
While I am undecided on who to support, I was impressed with Michelle Obama. She's energetic and able to balance her career, community service, her family, and Barack's campaign extremely well. For example, she talked about keeping her out of town trips to "same day" -- so she can be with her kids in the evening.
Also, she definitely made me think differently about Barack's "lack of experience". Points: a) Experience in Washington is not necessarily a good thing. It can make you take things for granted and abuse power -- look at current administration. b) You should consider Barack's "outside of Washington" experience as well before declaring him inexperienced.
