そんな声に応えるかのように、6月11日にサンクトガーレン有限会社から発売されるのが、「YOKOAHMA XPA」。なんとこのビール、苦さが通常のビールの約2倍もある。
しかもユニークなのは苦さだけではない。実はこれ、アメリカの軍人・ペリーが日本に持ち込んだとされるビールを再現したビールでもあるのだ。日本のビールの歴史の始まりは、このペリーが持ち込んだビールがきっかけといわれている。そう聞けば、ビール党なら一度は飲んでおきたいところ。

This restaurant is owned by the same people as La Tour d'Argent, but is less ridiculously expensive. I had the duck, which was quite good.
