This is pretty cool. I am going to give this a try the next time I fly Continental, although I will carry a printed boarding pass as backup.

That's awesome. Too bad they're currently only testing this with their domestic flights out of Houston.
We actually are flying Continental this summer to Boston -- it'll be sweet if this works by then. I'd love to test this out.
