neato...although being the lesser creative being that i am, i tend to like the utilities that let me capture colors from an existing page so i can copy it...Michelangelo, i am not...i guess its mspaint for me...woohoo!!
lol - i think i dotted a website which actually does what your saying, except not for colors but rather fonts! so if you see an image of a type and you have no clue what that font is - the website will snag the image and tell you (or give you a best guess) on what that font is.
very very cool if you're a designer.

you know jester, you might want to look into Colorzilla if you're a firefox user. It is the shizzle for getting colors of stuff you see on a web page, which in fact is a very very common thing to do considering you can open like almost anything in a web browser anyway :) Enjoy!
