That's awesome! I had an argument with someone about this on a Slate message board once. They were saying that S. Asia has only had female leaders (Bhutto & Gandhi) because of dynastic political tendencies. But we're fairly dynastic in the U.S. (hello, Kennedy & Bush families) so that's no excuse.
Damn straight! Has anyone ever diminished a king for coming to power via his family? NO. A ruler is still a ruler.
