Henry Reynolds has written a number of excellent books on the topics of australian aboriginals, australian history, and race relations. In this book, he explores why australia has a collective denial and amnesia about what white australia has done to the aboriginals. His other books explore similar topics such as aboriginal resistance to white encroachment and the new (shockingly late-coming and begrudging) recognition of the aboriginal's pre-existing legal rights.
