An innovation is that the 17 guidelines apply in turn to data archives, but also data producers and data users.

Comment at Faves | View original page

<dc:subject>guidelines,report,social science data,research data,data archives,data sharing,data curation,data management,data repositories,KNAW</dc:subject>

UKDA-store to be launched : JISC

Following on from the StORe project, a JISC press release announces that UKDA-store will be launched on 30 June 2008 at the NCRM Methods Festival in Oxford. UKDA-store uses repository software to aid researchers to deposit data with the UK Data Archive and to self-archive their data. Astrid Wissenburg, Director of Communication and Information at the ESRC is quoted as saying that "The ESRC welcomes the creation of UKDA-store as a valuable tool for the archiving of social science data, and is complementary to the ESRC's publications repository."

Comment at Faves | View original page

<dc:subject>service,data repositories,social science data,UKDA,data centres</dc:subject>
