DRIVER is funded by the EU (FP6) and puts in place a test-bed of digital repositories across
Europe, to assist with the development of a knowledge infrastructure for the European Research Area. The project builds upon existing institutional repositories and national networks, from countries including the Netherlands,
Germany, France, Belgium and the UK.

This is an extensive report in PDF format. This australian project focuses on the needs of smaller and regional universities by providing a structured framework for partner institutions to evaluate, trial and implement an Institutional Repository solution; to collaborate on the development of better processes and tools; to act collectively and to develop the expertise that will be necessary to respond to emerging needs of the Research Quality and Accessibility Frameworks across universities.

Comment at Faves | View original page

<dc:subject>project,institutional repositories</dc:subject>

National Academic Research and Collaborations Information System

NARCIS - The Gateway to Dutch Scientific Information

Comment at Faves | View original page

<dc:subject>institutional repositories,Open Access,Netherlands,KNAW</dc:subject>

The AHDS Blog » After the AHDS: the end of national support

A panel discussion at the opening of the recent Digital Resources in the Humanities and Arts conference at Dartington College of the Arts posed the question what happens after the end of the Arts and Humanities Data Service (AHDS); is this the end of national support?

Comment at Faves | View original page

<dc:subject>institutional repositories,research data,preservation,AHDS,blogs</dc:subject>
