  Quoted: In the Single Speed World Championship bicycle race, riders are encouraged to wear costumes and not take the race too seriously. Some racers wore Boy Scout uniforms. Others wore pajamas, a full-body neon skinsuit, bunny ears or fishnet tights. Men willing to do the entire race in briefs received special prizes. Hecklers along the course route threw beer cans and shouted insults.
