- I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I work for a living as a customer service rep, but I work for pennies as a writer. I would do it for nothing because writing is as necessary to my sanity as breathing is to my survival. Thoughts awaken me and call me out of my bed at night. I must get them on paper or they will not let me sleep. Writing is therapeutic, and there is an indescribable satisfaction in coming up with just the right string of words to express a thought.
