A: No. We don't have anything better to do. In turn, we must ask whether you have anything better to do than ask us if we have anything better to do? You don't? Well, that's cool. We're going to just ignore you, then. Is that okay?

Our mandate is, more or less, to give people a place to revel in their guilty televisual pleasures. In most cases, we have a complex love/hate relationship with the show, and this site is a way for us to work through those feelings. If we plain hated a show, we wouldn't pay it any attention at all. American Idol, is an American television series. It is part of the Idol series, originating from the UK show Pop Idol, a singing talent contest to determine the best "undiscovered" young singer in the country. In recent years it has become one of the most highly publicized music competitions in the world, reaching the status of a phenomenon.

American Idol is screened on the Fox Network in the United States and on CTV in Canada.[1] It was created by Simon Fuller (manager of the Spice Girls and S Club 7) and developed by Simon Jones of Thames Television.
