who's up for running with me this year??

holy smokes the race was a fun one! tons of people in crazy costumes showed up. I was planning to meet up with some friends at the start line, but there was no chance after I heard them announce a record number of runners this year....15000!!! yikes! it was impossible to find anyone really. but the course was pretty flat with the vast majority of it taking place on the top level of the viaduct. wonder what will happen to the course when they start replacing it.

we saw some BIG birds flying along the higway when driving through parts of ohio and pennsylvania...must be a great bird watching spot!

Got mail on this year's race the other day...

this was the first running "race" I ever did and it was a ton of fun. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good cause or just a goal to set for personal fitness
