Sara Evans, who finalized a bitter divorce last year, is engaged to former University of Alabama quarterback Jay Barker.
"The couple are enjoying their engagement and look forward to their upcoming nuptials," Lori Genes, the singer's publicist at Sony BMG Nashville, said Tuesday.
No date has been announced for the wedding.
