Wow this is seriously nuts, but a brilliant zombie death metal meets soviet realism with a twist of art deco nuts and a free history lesson thrown in kind of nuts!
Oh and the scene where Gorbachov the Barbarian decapitates/death rays the KGB zombie guys with battleaxes/etc, immediately followed by happy people dancing as coke bottles and jeans fall from the sky is sheer genius ;)

Interesting article on the recent referendum failure in Venezuela. One surprising piece of data: income inequality has actually increased under Chavez(!)

Beyond horrifying. A couple things struck me here:
1. Wasn't communism supposed to be about equality, and yet this is inequity so savage I cannot think of any counterpart in any so called 'capitalist' nation (at least not in the last hundred years)
2. This happened in 1994 and only now does the truth get out? Families lost children and then were forced to stay silent. I have trouble even processing that.
3. The communist party bastards who did this were let off with negligible sentences.
I'm sorry, but this makes Enron look like a frickin tea party.
