Quoted: My computer is only one year old and I wanted to know why does my computer run slow. There is nothing more annoying than waiting while your computer grinds away doing nothing. I lost more than a few games because of this problem.My kids are on the computer constantly. Problem is when I want to use it all this crap is popping up and we have all sorts of new tool bars and other junk. They must click on everything in site. Our new XP Pro computer has slowed to a crawl and the time it takes to boot.... forget about it. I go do something else while it starts up.
