VH-1 "Celebreality" shows are my guiltiest of guilty pleasures. I live in constant fear of being exposed as a watcher of "I Love New York" marathons. But when Margaret Cho's show comes out this summer, you'd better believe I'll be watching it loud and proud! Hopefully she will kick Flavor Flav, Bret Michaels, and Scott Baio's collective male chauvinist ass!

With each passing day, my woman crush on Jill Scott grows and grows. Watch her sing this song and "bask in her glory, baby!"

A parody of the Obama "Yes We Can" video. Somehow, John McCain's speeches are not quite as inspiring when set to music... Do I want to laugh at this or cry? I don't really know.

I am still mourning the loss of Dennis Kucinich as a presidential candidate, and ranting against the corporate interests that killed his campaign to anyone who will listen. But his new project, IntegrityNow.org, may give me a more constructive way to channel my grief/rage. For now, all you can do on the site is sign up to receive a newsletter, but it's supposed to grow into a grassroots-organizing type thing that will work on the same issues Dennis championed in his campaign. So if you agreed with his positions on peace, economic justice, healthcare, and civil liberties, you should sign up. Then, if you're anything like me, you can get back to work on deciding who the hell you're going to vote for now.

There is definitely a mainstream media conspiracy afoot to silence Dennis Kucinich. Earlier this week, MSNBC dis-invited him from the Nevada debate. A judge ordered them to allow Dennis to debate, but then (no surprise here) MSNBC appealed his decision and won. As a result, Clinton, Obama and Edwards were the only candidates whose voices were heard. The corporations are obviously terrified of what Dennis has to say--which to me makes him an even more attractive candidate than he already was.
It's admittedly sad that his campaign is reduced to making its own YouTube news show, but if the big media won't give you equal time, you've got to take matters into your own hands...

I'm just gonna put it out there: Dennis Kucinich has totally got my vote. If you're liberally inclined and haven't made up your mind about the primaries yet, please don't rule him out. He was against the Iraq War from the start, and has consistently voted against funding it. He made a motion in Congress to impeach Cheney. That was enough to convince me. But the more I read about his life and political career, the more convinced I am. His campaign slogan is "Strength Through Peace." It's a beautiful thing.
