University Fences In a Berkeley Protest, and a New One Arises - New York Times

Some people in Berkeley are really crazy. Living in the trees for nearly a year? Come on...

I remember all the protests between the city, university and city residents over People's Park. That is a place where freedom and liberty is supposed to be unrestrained. In reality, it is a filthy place where bums live and fight. It is unsafe and I have routinely seen people urinate, defecate, fight, deal drugs.... Lawlessness is not necessarily a good thing.

Quoted: In Berkeley, Calif., a protest in the trees outside Memorial Stadium at the University of California has been business, and Berkeley, as usual.

    Recycled Tea

More uses for used tea leaves.

    Rust-proofing? That's one I've never heard of.

Quoted: After drinking tea, the first step in recycling green tea leaves for their various beneficial uses is to properly prepare the leaves. When finished brewing tea, insert the leaves into a large strainer. Draw out as much moisture as possible, and then spread the leaves on either a flat strainer or unprinted paper. Let the leaves set until completely dry, turning over several times in the process.
