Water changes everything. Our vision is simple and ambitious: clean, safe drinking water for everyone on the planet.
charity: water is a non-profit bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. Most of us have never really been thirsty. We’ve never had to leave our houses and walk 5 miles to fetch water. We simply turn on the tap, and water comes out. Clean. Yet there are a billion people on the planet who don’t have clean water.
It’s hard to imagine what a billion people looks like really, but one in eight might be easier. One in eight people in our world don’t have access to the most basic of human needs. Something we can’t imagine going 12 hours without.
Here, we’d like to introduce you to a few of those billion people. They are very real, and they need our help. They didn’t choose to be born into a village where the only source of water is a polluted swamp. And I didn’t choose to be born in a country where even the homeless have access to clean water and a toilet.

We're Providing Access to Clean Drinking Water, with Your Help!
Did you know that nearly 1 billion people don't have clean, safe water to drink? We didn't.
When we learned about the crisis, and that a few people can actually make a huge impact, we decided to get involved. Today we're working in five countries helping hundreds of new people find access to water every week by funding water wells and other safe water projects.
With monies raised, our partners in the field can do the digging and construction needed to provide clean, safe water efficiently and sustainably. They also mobilize, train, and follow-up with local communities, helping ensure long-term success.

I think the cops and government now classify you as a eco terrorist if you protest cutting down trees for anything especially bypasses. Have a look at the Newbury bypass I think this was the largest protest in European history another was Twyford Downs the M3 motorway and Swampy, an environmental protester now I know where it all started

from Greece, where peanut allergy is rather rare, might have been more concerned about the melon in the fruit salad. A person from the south of Italy might have pushed apple juice to one side for fear that it might trigger a skin rash and stomach pains, a reaction that would puzzle a compatriot from northern Italy.
Why such regional differences exist is just one of the many mysteries surrounding food allergies. Why, for example, do some migrants from east Asia develop an allergy to jackfruit when they move to northern Europe? Then there's the question of what constitutes an allergic reaction in the first place, whether there's ever a "safe" level of an allergen, and what should be done to label foods to warn people that an allergen may be present.

SO true...
2 FaversViewed: 55 TimesQuoted: Cancer has a cure. That breakthrough medical news is not the result of grueling medical research published in the New England Journal of Medicine. Instead, it is brought to us via fading actress-cum-Thighmaster queen-cum-New Age health guru Suzanne Somers.
