Quoted: Twelve years ago, the Chicago Bulls set a standard of success that many think will never be matched: 72-10 in the regular season. Almost a perfect season.
Well, now we have another fast-starting team, and so far they are running with the Bulls. The Boston Celtics are playing at a similar pace and trying to become the second team to win 70 in a season.

Quoted: In the five-player deal two years ago that sent center Eddy Curry to the New York Knicks, Mr. Mandel suggested the Bulls demand the option of switching first-round draft picks with the Knicks. It was a gamble since the draft order is based on a team's performance the previous season, with worse teams getting better picks.
If the Knicks had finished with a better record than the Bulls, the deal would have been worthless. But they didn't. The Bulls finished fifth and the Knicks 12th in their conference, giving the Bulls the opportunity to draft the highly coveted, 6-foot-11 forward Joakim Noah.

This kid did the intros last night at the game we went to - looks like it was his fourth time. Dice is back to 6th man, so no word on whether he still hits Al-a-biggity-bama with the same early high note. The girl who came out as Sheed did great leading the team in dance with the real Sheed cheering her on.
