went to Mashiko for dinner on Friday and it was amazing! definitely one of the best sushi places i've been to, but kinda pricey. the service was great, the selection huge and the food so oo tasty. the only downfall was the wait, it took us about 45 minutes to get a table. they do take reservations though, so i would recommend that especially on a friday or saturday night

this is really interesting, it's a musical documentary set around a speech made by Arundhati Roy. I had no idea she was such a controversial figure, she speaks out about current political situations such as Kashmir and the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. i actually bought her book "The God Of Small Things" a while ago and it's sitting on my shelf waiting to be read. I better get to it!
