VentureBeat reports something that we already we know, that Seattle is one the emerging regions in the US for startup investment. They go on to detail a 103% increase in the number of startup companies since 1997 and a 211% increase in total investment.
Quoted: The fastest growing major centers of U.S. venture capital investment are Seattle, Los Angeles, and the Washington DC metro area, all quietly growing their venture base over the last ten years, according to the National Venture Capital Association.
