Our mission is to help low-income men find and keep jobs that will support them and their families, increase their self-esteem, and lead to a more just and equitable community. We help jobless men by providing the following: 1) career counseling and interview preparation; 2) clean, interview-appropriate clothing; 3) job retention and advancement skills training; and 4) support services and referrals. Partnering with job-training programs, Career Gear works with men who have graduated from these programs and are scheduled for job interviews. Career Gear has helped over 3,000 men obtain employment.
