Directed by Paul Verhoeven. (yes, the one guilty of camp classic "Showgirls" and "Basic Instinct".) I like it because a fag-basher gets lovingly, graphically gang raped in the subway by a buncha leatherdaddies and ends up turning gay and falling in love with the main rapist. Verhoeven fled the Netherlands for Hollywood after the freaked-out response to this film. It's actually quite romantic. Subtitled, tho.Quoted: they live a lifetime, every twenty-four hours.
